Most university aid is awarded on the basis of academic achievement or performance, and/or financial need. University of the Pacific 奖助金 (UOP Grant) amounts vary and are awarded to entering first-year students who demonstrate financial need.

Federal Pell Grant

Federal grants are offered to students who demonstrate high financial need. In the 2023-2024 academic year, Pell 奖助金 range from $767 to $7,395.

Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)

The Federal FSEOG program is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need. Eligible undergraduate Pacific students who are Pell Grant recipients are typically awarded grants of $1,000元/年.

卡尔拨款 are need-based grants for low-income and middle-income students who are California residents and attend California colleges and universities. 卡尔拨款 provides up to $9,358 per school year for tuition and fees.

美国.S. Department of Education and University of the Pacific's Office of 金融援助 have provided funds for a limited number of grants for qualified students in SUCCESS. These grants are designed for SUCCESS students who are current PELL grant recipients to help them meet any unmet financial need (as determined by the Office of 金融援助).

Yellow Ribbon Program

Selected students will receive university grant and/or scholarship funds to pay up to 50% of tuition charges.

Pell 奖助金 (as well as other grants and scholarships) are automatically accepted for you.  The aid disburses to your student account on the first day of classes if all financial aid requirements are met.

In order to maintain aid, students must reapply every year to renew their financial aid amount. Your aid amount will not change unless there are significant financial changes in your household and you no longer fit the eligibility requirements for Federal, 状态, and Institutional financial aid.

Any automatic increases in aid will be in the form of a Federal Loan. Federal Loan eligibility increases along with your class standing.
